Human Parts Market Discovered in Lagos As Police Arrest Suspects

MEN of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), in a chilling discovery, have uncovered a secret market for human parts at Oyingbo Market, Lagos State.

This was followed by a subsequent arrest of two suspects allegedly found with human tongues.

The suspects, identified as Isah Amohullahi (30) and Abubakar Isah (32), were apprehended during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola Bridge on October 15, 2024.

The duo’s possession of the abominable items led to further revelations, implicating a trader, Gbolahan Temidayo, who allegedly traded in the human parts.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed arrest of the suspects, said they were in Police custody undergoing interrogation over their alleged conduct.

He stated that the suspects were arrested by men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on 15th October, 2024, during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola Bridge.

“The suspects, Isah Amohullahi ‘m’ aged 30 and Abubakar Isah ‘m’ aged 32 were in possession of human tongues — arrested in a taxi on October 15, 2024 during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola bridge,” he said.

“Further investigations led the operatives to the arrest of another suspect from whom the parts were bought, Gbolahan Temidayo ‘m’, in Oyingbo Market, Lagos.”
