Keyamo, Ochei, Ojougboh Absent, As Omo-Agege Becomes Candidate of Delta APC

Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo, SAN, former Speaker of Delta State, Victor Ochei and Dr Cairo Ojougboh were conspicuously absent at the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary as Senate Deputy President Ovie Omo-Agege, was unopposed as the candidate of the party.

The event was held at the open field of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba, on Thursday amid a tight security.

Senator Omo-Agege, who was the sole governorship aspirant of the party, to fulfill all righteousness, polled 1,190 votes to be declared sole candidate.

Senator Omo-Agege, in his remarks, thanked delegates for patiently waiting to carry out the exercise ahead of the 2023 governorship election.

Former chieftain of the PDP, Peter Nwaoboshi, and other chieftains of the party including former governorship aspirant and business mogul, Oloorogun O’tega Emerhor, former general secretary of NUPENG, Chief Frank Kokori, among others, were at the event.
