AFTER 25 years of waiting, praying, and believing, Israel and his wife, Ada Owoijo finally witnessed the miracle they had hoped for.

Attending the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Abuja Special Holy Ghost Service 2024 with the theme: Total Restoration, on Friday, the couple shared their powerful story, recounting how their faith had brought them the unimaginable gift of quadruplets.

Israel, who worships at RCCG FCT Province 10, recalled the long journey he and his wife had endured.

“We have been persistently and consistently waiting on God for the blessing of the womb,” he said.

At a similar church event some time ago, a prophecy of hope had been spoken through the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, which inspired them to continue praying with renewed faith.

Then, last year, their prayers were answered. His wife called with news he had longed to hear—she was pregnant. But the miracle didn’t stop there.

When she delivered in April this year, it wasn’t just one child or even two, but four.

“God gave us not one, two, or three, but four children at a time,” Israel testified, with a voice full of awe and gratitude.

Even more remarkable was the smoothness of the pregnancy. From the moment his wife conceived until the day she delivered, they had no need for medical visits.

The birth was complication-free, a testament, they said, to the protecting hand of God over them and their new family.

The couple’s journey is a powerful reminder, Israel said, of the faithfulness of God and the importance of never losing hope. “Nobody should give up on God,” he urged. “There is no problem too big for Him.”

Their testimony resonated deeply with those gathered, filling the atmosphere with hope. For the Owoijos, the arrival of their quadruplets is proof that, in God’s time, even the longest wait can end in unimaginable joy.

“My name is Israel Owoijo. I worship at RCCG FCT Province 10. I have been married for 25 years and we have been persistently and consistently waiting for God for the blessing of the womb.

“In one of the programmes like this, my wife came and a word of knowledge came and she told me about it. I keyed into it and since then, we have been praying fervently to God to intervene in our family.

“Sometime last year, my wife took in, she called me and told me that I was going to be a proud father of children.

“On April this year, my wife delivered four beautiful children. She delivered a quadruplet. God gave us not one, two, three but four children at a time.

“From the first day she took in till she delivered, we did not visit the hospital any day and since we gave birth to these children, we haven’t gone for a medical checkup any day.

“Nobody should give up on God. There is no problem that is too big for God.”
