FORMER mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, Phil Baroni, has been arrested in Mexico for allegedly killing his girlfriend, as contained in a statement from the prosecutor’s office in the Pacific Coast State of Nayarit, on Wednesday 4th of January, 2023.

Stonix News learnt that on January 1, 2023, Baroni, who made his UFC debut in 2001, in a hotel room, had an argument with his deceased girlfriend, a Mexico city native, after she admitted to cheating on him.
Phil told policemen he was jealous and demanded she takes her bath, which she adamantly refused.
He became angry and forced her to the bathroom, shoved her into the shower where she struck her head against the wall.
She sustained a severe head injury on the impact.
Baroni acknowledged that he carried and placed her on the bed, and when he realised she could not stand up due to the injuries she had sustained, he immediately notified the police.
Upon their arrival, the policemen saw bruises on the victims lifeless body. Phil was then arrested.
Investigations are still ongoing.
