The illicit shipment, weighing 77.20 kilogrammes, was intercepted at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos, aboard a DHL flight on Tuesday, 28th October 2025. NDLEA operatives subsequently apprehended the artiste at Bougain Villa, Primewater Gardens 2, Freedom Way, Lekki, when he showed up as the consignee to claim the items on behalf of a syndicate that includes his manager, Zion Osazee Omigie (a.k.a. Zee Money), who is currently on the run.

In a related development, NDLEA officers uncovered a clandestine laboratory producing Colorado (Colos) — a synthetic strain of cannabis — in a residential building at Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos. The 30-year-old lab owner, Stephen Kelechi Imoh, was arrested, and large quantities of freshly produced Colos and precursor chemicals were seized, including 16.2kg of cooked Colos, 1.7kg of ADB-CHMNACA Cannabinol, 4.5kg of Potassium Carbonate and 91 litres of Dibromobutane.
