TRAVELLERS at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, witnessed high drama on Sunday, 14th September, when a pretty babe and businesswoman tried to turn her underwear into a mobile warehouse for methamphetamine.
The suspect, identified as Ebere Theresa Okolonkwo, was nabbed at Terminal 2 while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight to Doha.

Aviation Security officers, working with NDLEA operatives, discovered that beneath her outfit lay more than just fashion accessories — two hefty parcels of meth weighing 1.40 kilograms were tucked neatly into her butt pad underwear.
The discovery sent shockwaves through the airport, as officers wondered how she managed to walk “comfortably” with such a heavy payload strapped to her backside.
“She was literally carrying excess baggage,” one officer quipped.
During interrogation, the Enugu-based businesswoman, who claimed to sell second-hand clothes and operate a POS shop, confessed that she had been recruited into the illicit trade.
But instead of loading goods into bags, she opted for a ‘bottom-up’ approach.
Airport passengers, who got wind of the incident, could not contain their laughter.
“Imagine going through all that discomfort only to end up on the evening news!” one traveller joked.
The NDLEA has, since, promised that while Nigerians love fashion innovations, “drug-laced butt pads” will never make it to the runway.
