SOME Nigerians have taken to their social media pages especially Facebook to react to the recent #ENDEFCC protests being carried out by some suspected Yahoo Yahoo boys in Ibadan.

Some youths suspected to be Yahoo Yahoo guys have taken to the street of Ibadan to protest the end of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Thursday, October 6, 2022.
The protests who were protesting inside cars in the midst of loud music, were heard chanting ENDEFCC.
One of the protesters identified as Demola said that EFCC should define their duty and go after politicians who are allegedly looting Nigeria’s money and stop harassing hardworking youths.

He said “How many of the politicians looting our money have they arrested. they are spoiling our image all over the world. They are tagging us scammers.
“We are not thieves, we make legit money. They should let us be and go after the politicians.
Another of the protesters who refused to give his name said. “My message to EFCC is not that they shouldn’t work, but they should perfectly. They should stop harassing us. I live in one room if I have money will I be living in one room.

“All the youths should come out and support us and end EFCC.
The protest, however, did not go down well with some Nigerians as they tagged the protesters “lazy youths” who want to reap from where they did not sow.

Sobur Abiodun: Nobi only una be youths for this country abeg. I have never been arrested in this country by police or EFCC since I’m not looking irresponsible and I don’t do criminal things.
