A church building under construction belonging to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has collapsed in Lagos.
This was disclosed in a statement by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), on Friday.
NEMA coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the structure was a three-storey building located at 17 Cardoso Street, off Martin Street, Mushin, Lagos.
Mr Farinloye, however, said no life was lost since no one was in the building when it caved in.
He further disclosed that officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LABSCA) were on ground shortly after the building collapsed.
“A building under construction belonging to Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), opposite number 17 Cardoso Street, off Martin Street, Mushin, just collapsed.
“No one trapped, LABSCA is on ground and It was a three-floor building before it collapsed,” he stated.
