By MEMBERS of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents Chapel, on Tuesday October 1, 2024, honoured a veteran journalist, Sola Adebayo, popularly known as Asiwaju (trailblazer), for his meritorious contributions to the chapel as well as the state council.
The event, which was attended by the who-is-who in the pen profession in Delta State, including the dutiful wife of the honoured, held at Peb Global Hotel, Off Old Okpe Road, Jeddo, Warri.
Among dignitaries at the event were the Number One Pen Pusher in Delta State, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, the scribe, Comrade Victor Sorokwu, chairman of NUJ Warri Correspondents Chapel and host, Okies Okpomor and other leaders of chapels in Warri and environs.
