(+PHOTOS&VIDEOS) Expected By Road, Natasha Lands In Constituency By Chopper

AMID hastily imposed restrictions by the Kogi State government in collusion with external elements, the irrepressible Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on Tuesday arrived in her constituency by chopper.

This comes despite earlier restriction measures, as Senator Natasha’s arrival in Ihima sparked massive support, with no rented crowds cheering, drumming, and marching alongside her and her supportive husband, the Alema of Warri Kingdom, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan.

Senator Natasha arrived in her hometown, Ihima, in Okehi Local Government Area, where the chairman had earlier on Tuesday hurriedly declared a curfew, citing phantom security threats.

Before her arrival, large crowds of women, men, children, and youths had already gathered. As she arrived, they followed her with cheers and drumming as she moved publicly through the town.

In a video circulating online, she was seen walking along a major road, surrounded by supporters chanting and celebrating her presence.

The energy in the town remained high, with many residents defying the earlier restrictions imposed by local authorities and the state government.

Addressing the crowd, Senator Natasha declared:

“Nobody and nothing can stop me from coming home.

“I’m an Ebira woman; this is my land. I’m the daughter of the late Jimoh Abdul Akpoti. I know my roots; I’m not a bastard, and I’m not afraid of anybody.”

“I’m not a law breaker. I appreciate the governor’s orders.

“We came by helicopter and not by road. No convoy; we are not in the streets; so we didn’t break the law.”

Her words were met with thunderous cheers as the crowd continued to march alongside her, expressing their unwavering support.
