THE Anambra State Police Command has, on Friday, called on parents of three recovered children from kidnap suspects to come for identification.
Three children, according to the police, were taken from their parents in Abia, Akwa-Ibom and Rivers states, and taken to Anambra where they were rescued from suspected kidnappers.
In a statement issued by DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, the rescued children were David Frang Male Age (8yrs), Sarah Frang female (3yrs) and Chibuchi Sunday (male age 7yrs).
“Anambra State Police Command today 17/2/2023 calls on the public especially residents of Abia, Akwa-Ibom and Rivers State to help identify these children, for a possible reunion with their parents.
“They are David Frang Male Age 8yrs, Sarah Frang female age 3yrs and Chibuchi Sunday male age 7yrs were recovered from individual suspects who are already in custody.
“Given the confessions of the suspects, the children were taken away from their parents in the respective states mentioned above and brought to Anambra State.
“They therefore call on there parents to come to the Anambra State Police Command to identify there children,” the statement read.
