A recent clash between two cult groups has reportedly claimed the lives of two suspected cult members in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.
According to reports, the suspected cult members were killed in separate locations within Ughelli metropolis on Sunday.
It was gathered that the violence stemmed from a dispute between two women, allegedly over shop rent in Agbarho.
What started as a minor quarrel escalated, drawing in their male associates, who belong to opposing cult factions.
One of the victims, identified as Oghenero Okpos, was attacked on Sunday night at a drinking joint on Sadjere Street.

A witness at the scene recounted the distressing moment, saying, “Oghenero gave me money to buy this cigarette, and I hadn’t even finished smoking when we heard someone had been killed—only to discover it was my brother.”
