Barely 48 days to 2022, gunmen have killed the wife of the General Overseer of Faith Fasting and Prayer Ministry in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Pastor Mrs Faith and abducted her husband, Prophet Jay Jay Enejeta.
The youthful couple, with youths as majority of their church members, got married May 2, 2018.

The incident occurred barely 48 hours to the New Year on the evening of Thursday, December 30, 2021 while returning home.
Checks on the Facebook page of Prophet Enejeta, who’s a graduate of Delta State Polytechnic and an Isoko, showed that he had earlier doled out N250,000 to 50 members of his Facebook fans on Thursday via electronic transfer with recepients acknowledging his generosity.

“Prophet Jay Jay……
Daddy no give away daddy no give away, have Made up my mind to do this. 5k from 50 people I will pick randomly from your account pls don’t inbox me,” he posted on his Facebook page with a church sticker titled: “Prophetic Bailout,” before carrying out the donations.
Prophet Enejeta was said to be driving home with his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Faith Enejeta, and a sister-in-law when the gunmen ambushed them and opened fire on their Lexus Jeep while approaching their residence.

Stonix News gathered that hot pellets from the gunmen reportedly pierced through the window of the front passenger seat, hit the wife in her neck and head and killed her on the spot.
The sister-in-law was also reportedly hit by pellets and lying critically in a hospital in the town.
The husband, who was the one behind the wheels, was reportedly swooped on and abducted by the assailants to an unknown destination.
No contact has so far been made to the family members as of the time of filing the report.
Sources said Pastor Mrs Enejeta was confirmed dead at a hospital she was later rushed to in Abraka and her remains deposited in a morgue.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe has confirmed the incident to Stonix News on enquiry on Friday, adding that police were on the trail of the hoodlums.

Meanwhile, security sources revealed that there are fears that the husband might have sustained some bullet shots having sighted drops of blood stains on the path the abductors whisked him through.
The security operatives, which include local vigilante members, were said to be combing nearby woods to the scene of attack.
Reacting to the incident, President, Oruarivie-Abraka Youth Council (OYC), Comrade Efe Don Kigho, expressed his shock to journalists.
“I received with a rude shock this morning the news of the kidnapping of one Pastor J.J in Abraka last night.
“I was told the wife was shot dead in the process and his sister is currently hospitalized in critical condition (as a result of gunshots).”
“The local government chairman must take responsibility of all these. Enough is enough,” he warned.
Kidnapping in Abraka axis and the entire Ethiope East Local Government Area has become a menace in recent times with the kidnap and release of the president of private school owners and his wife.
A local government Councillor also lost his life in a hospital few days after gunmen pumped pellets into his body but escaped being kidnapped.
So far, no arrest has been reportedly made since the siege of kidnappers on innocent citizens began in the university area.
