AMID biting economic hardship, suspected burglars have emptied a shop newly stocked with corporate shoes and sneakers in Lagos, Nigeria.
The shop, belonging to Mr & Mrs Clement Ekaun, is located at No 17, Olayiwola Street, Abule Egba, Lagos.

Stonix News gathered that the incident took place at night between Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th April, 2023.
Emptied shop
This came a day after the shop was newly and fully stocked with wares in anticipation of Easter sales.
Speaking with the couple on Wednesday, they said the cost of the total goods, corporate shoes and sneakers, stolen from the shop was about three million naira.

They said the hoodlums gained access to the shop after breaking the padlocks of the entrance door.
When asked if they had reported the incident to the nearest police station, the couple said ‘yes.’

According to them, the case was reported at the New Oko Oba Police Station, Abule Egba, Lagos, adding that the police said the case was already under investigation.
