A graduate of the University of Ibadan, Stephen Adeyemi, popularly known as ASO, has been reported dead.
He died on Thursday at a hospital after a short battle with injuries sustained in a gas explosion a few weeks ago at his place of NYSC primary assignment in Abuja.
Stonix News gathered that Mr Adeyemi was the Information and Propaganda Minister of the Sultan Bello Hall, UI, during the 2017/18 academic session.
Scores of students, who learnt of the accident, had reportedly made attempts to raise funds for his treatment before his demise.
The President of the UI Students’ Union Government, Comrade Adeyinka Adewole, the Public Relations Officer, Michael Olalekan, and the Hall Mayor of Sultan Bello, Abayomi Olalekam confirmed Adeyemi’s death to UCJ UI, expressing their sadness.
