A 12-year-old girl who fatally stabbed her 9-year-old brother was immediately taken into custody at a juvenile facility, Tulsa Police Department told journalists on Friday 6th of January.
According to a statement from the Police Department that was made available to Stonix News, the stabbing was reported few minutes before midnight on Thursday at a residence in the St. Thomas Square community south of downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“Officers learned the children’s parent was upstairs asleep when the 12-year-old daughter woke the parent up and said that she had stabbed her brother,” police said.
The 9-year-old victim was administered CPR by a contract ambulance service before he was rushed to a hospital.
He underwent surgery in the early hours of Saturday.
The motive behind the fatal stabbing by a 12-year-old daughter, whose name was withheld because of her age, has not been revealed, however, under Oklahoma law, she may be held for five work days pending filing of a petition that outlines potential allegations.
It is against the law in Oklahoma, for children younger than 13 to be held.
A child from age 13 and older who commits heinous crime such as this, will be prosecuted as an adult.
