HOLLYWOOD actress Florence Pugh was struck by an object thrown by a fan while she and her fellow ‘Dune: Part Two’ cast members were on stage, promoting the movie at CCXP 2023 in São Paulo on Sunday Dec. 3rd, 2023.
The incident happens to be one out of several other cases of celebrities being attacked on stage this year.
In the video footage that had gone viral, Pugh was seen smiling for a photograph on stage alongside film’s director, Denis Villeneuve, as well as co-stars which included Zendaya, Timothee Chalamet and Austin Butler when an item struck her in the face.
As she crouched down to fetch the object, she grabbed her face while everyone around her looked around in confusion.
“Can you imagine? These people have lost it,” she said.
Pugh played Princess Irulan in the latest franchise which premiers in March 1st, 2024.
