IN the early hours of today Monday Jan. 8, 2024, Russia launched its latest missiles against Ukrainian targets, striking near the front lines of fighting in the east as well as in central and westernv parts of the country.
Stonix News learnt that the attack killed four civilians and left 30 others injured.
Recall that western officials and analysts earlier gave a warning that Russia was stockpiling its cruise missiles in preparation for a strategy of winter bombardment.
According to our source, ABC News, Monday’s attacks struck a string of urban areas across Ukraine, including housing and a shopping mall.
In the southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region, a woman reportedly died in the missile attack outside the city of Kryvyi Rih and 24 people were injured in a strike on the town of Novomoskovsk.
Ukrainian military, on Monday, said Russian forces have made unsuccessful efforts to advance during the past few days in several areas, including around Lyman in the Kharkiv region and in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
