In an rare display of chivalry, a yet-to-be-identified traditional priestess has overpowered two young men who broke into her home to kidnap her and daughter at the wee hours of Saturday.
The incident happened at Ekhuere Community, Agbarho Town in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The priestess
According to Warri Aproko, the suspects of northern extraction allegedly broke into the woman’s house harbouring her shrine located inside the bush.
It was reported that when they got into the house, they met the woman’s daughter who called for her mother for help.

Immediately she cried for help, the two assailants stabbed her.
The yet-to-identified priestess rushed out of her room with a machete and overpowered the intruders, inflicting injuries in the legs of the two suspects so they won’t flee.
In a video obtained from Warri Aproko’s WhatsApp Channel, the suspects were seen tied together with blood all over the floor where they were kept.

The priestess
Narrating what transpired in another video clip, the priestess said: “I tied them down by myself before I called community boys to take them away.
“After tying them, I cut their legs to restrict them from running away.”

As at the time of filing this reporter, Stonix News learned that the intruders are in Agbarho Police Station, and the daughter of the priestess receiving treatment in a hospital.
