The city of Ibadan caught fire on Saturday, 18th April 2026, as hearts were set ablaze for exploits at SONDA Day 2026.
SONDA Day is an annual programme organised by the Sexual Purity Academy, led by Pastor Victor Olukoju (PVO).

The one-day event brought young people from different parts of the country together at Men of Issachar Vision, Ibadan, in Oyo State.
Themed ‘Pure Fire’, the event had in attendance icons of Christian drama ministry, including Evangelist Damilola-Mike Bamiloye, Dr Olumide Oki, Pastor Victor Olukoju and his wife, Mama Franca Olukoju, Rev Badejo, and other dignitaries.

While delivering the welcome charge, Pastor Franca Olukoju encouraged everyone present to be brand ambassadors for Jesus.
She explained that an ambassador represents the interests of their brand, not their own personal interests.

Damilola-Mike Bamiloye
Evangelist Mike-Bamiloye, the father of Christian drama ministry in Nigeria, also admonished each participant to be a living sacrifice. According to him, a living sacrifice is dead to itself but alive in Christ.
Speaking from 1 Kings 18:33-39, Evangelist Mike-Bamiloye encouraged the children of God to be consistent in God’s presence so that their lives would attract pure fire.

Participants catching the fire
He pointed out that pure fire purifies, cleanses, and promotes. To fulfil God’s purpose, you must be touched by pure fire.
During the prayer session led by Pastor Yomi Ajayi, participants were indeed ignited with pure fire.
One of the highlights of the programme was the premiere of Parable Films’ latest movie, Four Years.

The play, Four Years
Four Years is a powerful film that centres on the life of a young lady. The movie was adapted into a novel by Dr Olumide Oki, and free copies were given to the first one thousand participants at SONDA Day.
