A fatal boat mishap has claimed a Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, and three others while returning from a movie location in Anambra State.
The sad news has been thrown the Nigerian movie industry into deep mourning.
The actor and three of his colleagues, whose identities have not been disclosed, were reportedly returning from a movie location in a boat when they fell into Anam River in Anambra State.
Their bodies have since been recovered, Stonix News can report.
It was gathered that hours before his death, the actor had shared a video of himself taken on Tuesday in a boat and praying frantically to arrive at his destination safely.
The accident unfortunately occurred on his way back from the location on Wednesday April 10.
The actor left a wife and three children behind.
