DEVELOPING: 7-Storey Building Collapses In Lagos, 2 Bodies Recovered, Search Continues

A seven-storey building, on Sunday morning, collapsed in Lekki, Lagos, leaving two persons dead so far.

Stonix News gathered that the building is close to the Sand Field Bus Stop, in Lekki area of Lagos State.

Apart from the two bodies already retrieved,  many construction workers are still believed to be  trapped under the rubble.

Nosa Okunbor, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said his men had deployed sophisticated tools and will soon approach ground zero of the collapsed structure.

“Two male commodities have been recovered under the rubble and bagged.

“Search and rescue is ongoing,” he noted.
