By A General Overseer of a new generation church identified as Chikordi has jumped to his death in a well after allegedly killing his wife, Prophetess Chikordi in Delta.
The middle-aged deceased was the General Overseer of the Ancient of Days Healing Church located at Umunede in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Stonix News gathered that Chikordi took his life by jumping into a well after snuffing life out of his wife.
It was learnt that around 4:00a.m on Sunday after committing the crime, the culprit travelled to his hometown, Ekwuoma, a neighbouring community to Umunede, where he jumped into the well to end it.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed the incident.
He, however, could not ascertain the cleric-identity of the deceased, adding that the command had since commenced investigation into the tragedy.
