Gunmen have killed a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kehinde Fatinoye and his wife after returning from the crossover service.

According to reports, the deceased, Kehinde Fatinoye, before the tragic incident, also worked as a Principal Confidential Secretary at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)
Stonix News gathered that the assassins stormed the couple’s residence in Ibara GRA, after they had returned from the New Year Crossover Service.

The couples were killed and set ablaze inside their house, while their son and domestic staff were reportedly abducted by the assailants.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State Police Spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in an official statement, confirmed the tragic incident.
“It is true the incident happened. Investigation has commenced. Somebody has been arrested in connection with the incident. The man and his wife were killed and we are yet to find their child who was taken away
“The incident happened after 12 in the morning. This is a clear case of assassination and we are not leaving any stone unturned to unravel those behind the killings,” he said.
