By Oil and gas giant, Heritage Energy Operational Services Ltd (HEOSL), has appointed Mr. Adesola Adebawo as the General Manager, Government, Joint Venture and External Relations.
HEOSL is a subsidiary of Heritage Oil Ltd, a Jersey-headquartered international oil and gas company, and operator of the OML 30 (NPDC/SNRL Joint Venture).
Mr Adebawo’s appointment took effect from November 1, 2021.
The oil major made the disclosure in a statement signed by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Naeem-Atiq Sadiq in Lagos, recently.
The Ilaje, Ondo State-born corporate communication guru is a business leader with profound public affairs and reputation management expertise.
He possesses a 25-year-old oil and gas industry experience in Stakeholder Management, Public Relations, Issues/Crisis Management, Brand Management, Strategic Communication, Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Strategy.
Before his appointment, ‘Sola, as he’s fondly called by his admirers, was the Manager, Communications for Chevron in Nigeria and Mid-Africa.
He is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Nigeria; a Master’s degree holder in Media and Communications from the Pan Atlantic University (PAU), Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
The fine gentleman is already on his doctoral research with a focus on Strategic Ommunication and Stakeholder Management.
In his new role, Mr. Adebawo is responsible for managing the relationship with all HEOSL’s external stakeholders.
According to the CEO, Mr. Sadiq, “Adebawo’s appointment is part of the ongoing strategy to reposition the company in the external relations realm and the emerging business climate in the new regulatory environment.”
Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL) is the Operator of the OML 30 Joint Venture between Nigeria Petroleum Development Company (a subsidiary of NNPC) and Shoreline Natural Resources Limited (SNRL).
It is a subsidiary of Heritage Oil Ltd, an equity owner in SNRL OML.
