TWO police officers attached to the Dragon Patrol Team of the Delta State Police Command were, on Sunday afternoon, were murdered along the Ughelli/Asaba road by Oleh roundabout.
A source said that the rain of pellets in the air halted all vehicular traffic as commuters scampered to safety for fear of being wasted at by the daredevils.
Undone with the killing of the policemen, the gunmen also set on fire the patrol van of the police.
The hoodlums were said to have come in droves to attack the two officers on patrol.
This came barely a week after a police Inspector, Jude Ukpaka attached to the Dragon Patrol Team, was gunned down along the Ogor/Evwreni axis of the East-West road.
