JUST IN: Gunmen Attack Iganna Police Station, Kill DCO, Suspect, Injure DPO, Others

GUNMEN, on Tuesday night, attacked Iganna Police Station in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State, killing the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) and a suspect in detention.

The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Adewale Osifeso, confirmed the incident to our Correspondent.

He said the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, an Inspector and some suspects, were on a danger list as a result of gunshot wounds they sustained during the attack.

Stonix News learnt that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Adebowale Williams, is currently at the scene of the incident to assess the situation.

Osifeso, however, disclosed that normalcy has returned to the area while security has also been beefed up in the axis.
