A massive fire outbreak has been reported at the famous Aleshinloye Market in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to videos circulating online, the fire started late on Tuesday night, March 11, 2025.

The cause of the fire remains unknown as of the time of filing this report.
Confirming the incident, the General Manager of the Oyo State Fire Services, Akinyemi Akinyinka, stated that firefighters are currently on ground working to contain the blaze.
“Our men are currently working at Aleshinloye market,” he told The Punch.
However, Eyewitness videos show intense flames and thick smoke engulfing parts of the market, causing panic and raising concerns over the extent of damage and possible casualties.
