Kaduna Villagers’ Bombing Unfortunate, Disturbing, Painful – Tinubu

PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has described as unfortunate, disturbing and painful the bombing, in error, of scores of villagers celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad by troops of the Nigerian Army.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement on Tuesday, said Tinubu sympathized with the families of victims, the people and government of Kaduna State over the bombing mishap.

Stonix News reports that the bombing took place on Sunday at a village in Tundun Biri in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

President Tinubu, according to him, expressing indignation and grief over the tragic loss of Nigerian lives.

Ngelale said the president has directed a “thorough and full-fledged investigation into the incident and calls for calm while the authorities look diligently into the mishap.

“The President also directs swift and comprehensive medical attention for surviving victims while praying for the repose of the souls of the deceased.”
