FORMER President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) and Prelate of Methodist Church, Nigeria, Dr Sunday Mbang, has passed. He was aged 86.
The news of his death was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of Conference of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Rt. Revd Dr Babatunde Taiwo.
The statement said that the first black president of the world Methodist council passed on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
The late Dr Mbang enrolled at the Trinity College in 1962 and served for 44 years with an impactful earthly ministry.
