A fast-growing, reliable construction giant, Mosiland Engineering Ltd (MEL) has congratulated Governor Umo Eno of Akwa-Ibom State on the affirmation of his electoral victory by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Eno, a pastor of repute and governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), had coasted home victory in the March 18, 2023 governoship election in the state according to the National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal and the Court of Appeal had earlier upheld his victory as the bona fide, elected governor of the state.
Congratulating the governor’s victory at the Supreme Court on Thursday, Media Director of MEL, Eben Olaoluwa, said the victory was well-deserved being the very wish and desire of the good people of the state.
“We wish to congratulate the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, on the verdict of the Supreme Court of Nigeria upholding his victory at the March 18, 2023 Governorship Election in the state.
“The victory, we believe, is a strong statement for democracy and the ultimate triumph of the will of the people of Akwa Ibom State in their determination to preserve good governance as exemplified in the life-changing, citizen empowerment programmes and projects in critical sectors including agriculture, education, healthcare, security, housing, road infrastructure, manufacturing, commerce and aviation, among others, in the state.
“As a firm with the enviable drive for success and greatness, we encourage you to keep up with the good work and the social contract you have covenanted with the people for a greater tomorrow for the good people of the state. Congratulations, sir!!!” the statement read in part.
