NETIZENS have called out an unidentified woman for allegedly stealing at a wedding ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.
According to an X user, @Pamilerin Adegoke, the lady allegedly lied to the event planner that she was a sister to the bride only to steal all the money “sprayed” on the couple and the bride’s phone.
It was also alleged that the lady also lied to the couple that she works with the event planner with a vendor tag.

The post read thus: “The lady circled came to my friend’s wedding and stole from them.
“Apparently she lied to the event planner that she’s the wife’s sister, and lied to the couple that she works with the event planner.
“She even had a vendor tag, so it made her legit.
“She stole all the money they sprayed the couple and even stole the bride’s phone.”

In reaction to the post, one @Arakunrin Abisoye commented: “Imagine the kind of heist one person was able to pull.
“This kind format isn’t new. Similar thing happened at my friend’s wedding last year. She stole the groom’s mother’s phone and her bag containing her US passport phones, dollars and some other valuables.”
One Edo Wizard said, “These people are called paripa, there are some that come for the drinks, expensive drinks, they can pocket any kinda drinks, the bouncers know them, they settle them before going in, there are different sector, those that steal sprayed money, drinks, phones and gold’s. This hustle is as old as prostitution.”
Another user, @Abiola Onileke commented
“So people come to parties for the sole purpose of stealing. Ìwà burúkú.”
“Also, user @JessyJackson Akpesiri added, “From the second frame, you will know she’s already calculating her next move.
“Anini, but wait how she take move the money? She definitely has an accomplice.”
