The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents Chapel, on Friday November 29, paid a condolence visit to the husband of Pastor Mrs. Denise Yetunde Adurokiya in their Ibadan home.
Stonix News had reported that Denise, wife of Nigerian Tribune Warri correspondent, Ebenezer Adurokiya, had passed night of Tuesday November 26, 2024.
The NUJ Warri correspondents’ delegation comprised Olorogun Akpokona Omafuaire, Mr. Edeki Igafe, Mr. Dele Fasan, and Mr. David Ogunyemi, also known as Baba Punch.
Olorogun spoke on behalf of the delegation, describing the Ebenezer as a strong personality who has the grace to weather every storm.
Upon arrival, the delegates were welcomed by family, friends, and well-wishers of the deceased, who had gathered at the residence to pay their respects to the beloved departed soul.
The NUJ delegates commiserated with their colleague and the husband of the deceased, offering words of encouragement and assuring him that the NUJ stands by him during this difficult time.
Details of her burial plans will be made known in due course.
