By Micheal Chukwuebuka

A devastating plane crash occurred at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona on Monday, resulting in one fatality and at least three injuries.

The plane, a Learjet 35A owned by Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil, veered off the runway after its left main gear failed during landing.

The jet, which had departed from Austin, Texas, crashed into a parked Gulfstream 200 business jet on private property.

First responders attended to five patients, with one person pronounced dead on arrival and three others transported to a local hospital. One person refused medical treatment.

According to an initial statement by Mötley Crüe, the pilot was killed in the crash, and Neil’s girlfriend, Rain Hannah, and her friend were injured.

However, the statement was later removed and replaced with a more general update.

The National Transportation Safety Board has taken over the investigation, and Vince Neil expressed his gratitude for the first responders’ assistance.

The airport, which hosts many corporate aircraft, was particularly busy due to the recent PGA Tour’s Phoenix Open.
