PRESIDENTIAL candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu; and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have met and sat beside each other during the funeral rites of mother of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The duo
The duo coalesced on Saturday, November 12, 2022, in Owo, at the funeral of Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu, mother of Akeredolu of Ondo State.
The ancient town of Owo in the Owo Local Government Area of the state virtually played host to other prominent politicians from across Nigeria.

Stonix News reports that the funeral of the nonagenarian matriarch of the Akeredolu dynasty died on September 15, 2022.
The reunion for political friends and rivals saw the bigwigs briefly putting politics aside and relishing the occasion with lighthearted laughter and hearty banters.

The event was held at the St Andrews Anglican Church in Owo.
Other dignitaries at the church service to pay final respects to the deceased included Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun) and Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos) as well as former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi – all of the APC family in the South-West.
