By PRINCESS Denise Yetunde Adurokiya (Nee Obasoyin), wife of Nigeria’s Tribune correspondent in Delta State, has passed. She was 51.
Stonix News reports that she passed, peacefully, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at her home in Ibadan, Oyo State, after a prolonged period of indisposition.

Denise was a princess from the Obasoyin dynasty of Ile-Olukere, the royal throne of Ikere-Ekiti in Ekiti State.
Her direct father was Pa Gabriel and Bolaji Obasoyin of the Olukere dynasty.
Beautiful in and out, Denise, as she was fondly called, was an ordained Assistant Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
She is the wife of the Pastor in Charge of the House of Favour Area, Oyo Province 18, Ibadan, Ebenezer Adurokiya, who was on her bedside till she breathed her last.
Close associates described her as generous, hospital, amiable, industrious, impactful and supportive to those who came across her.
A dutiful staff of the Post Graduate College (PGC), University of Ibadan, Princess Adurokiya took ill not too long ago before she eventually passed Tuesday night.
She was survived by her husband, daughter, sisters, spiritual sons and daughters and well-wishers.

Speaking with her husband and correspondent with the Nigerian Tribune in Delta State, Mr Adurokiya expressed his gratitude to God for an eventful and impactful life her wife led while in this divide.
“Words would fail me to quantify and qualify the impactful life my wife lived.
“As a thorough lover of God and minister in RCCG, she’s been a pillar for me; being immensely used by God to manage His sheep while I was away since 2012.
“And I’d never had a reason to worry over her managerial skills as well as her God-given gifts in managing God’s vineyard.
“Denise was a gift from the above for me, her family, friends and associates; but she’s gone to rest from her labour in this sinful world,” Mr Adurokiya.
Details of her burial plans will be made known in due course.
