THE General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has hinted that the mission has begun the massive production of plastic chairs at the Redemption City.
He disclosed during the Ministers’ Conference that heralded the 2022 Annual Convention of the mission which commenced on Monday August 8.
Adeboye said rather than patronising manufacturers for plastic chairs for millions of worshippers at the auditoriums, the mission has begun to manufacture the chairs.
According to him, the first port of call for supplies of the new chairs would be the 3×3 auditorium at Shimawa axis of the Redemption City.
With a video clip to demonstrate the quality of the plastic chairs, the octogenarian said the chair could withstand more than six bags of cement and still remains firm on the ground.
He said subsequently, the plastic chairs would be made available to parishes of the mission from across the country at cost price.
Stonix News reports that thousands of jobs are expected to be generated from the plastic factory.
