A retired female Customs officer has allegedly chopped off the middle finger of a 10-year-old girl living with her at her Oko-Afo home, along Badagry Road, Lagos, Nigeria.
After the heinous act the officer was said to have boasted that she was above the law and therefore untouchable.
Stonix News gathered that trouble started when the former Customs officer sent the victim, Hawau, to take N200 from the N250 she kept on the fridge, buy her a certain drug.
Hawau reportedly returned from the errand and her guardian requested for the balance of the N50 on top of the N200.
The house help was said to have denied being in possession of the N50 – a denial that infuriated the customs woman to dragged the girl into her room, grabbed a machete and chopped off one of her fingers.
Hawau’s mother, who’s crying for justice for her daughter, said the painful part was that the said missing N50 was later found.
According to Business Inside, the suspect is yet to be arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Command. and she’s still boasting that no law enforcement agent can arrest her for the child labour offence.
