SENATOR Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has unveiled a set of major infrastructure projects for her alma mater, Federal Government College (FGC) Idoani in Ondo State, in celebration of her 46th birthday.

The senator, who served as Head Girl of the 1997 set, said returning to the school nearly three decades later with meaningful contributions was a gesture of gratitude rather than politics.

The projects she facilitated, and which are expected to be completed next year, include a 2,000-seat auditorium, a 500-seat multipurpose hall, 10 staff quarters, 300 solar-powered streetlights, and a 50,000-litre solar-powered water system.
“FGC Idoani nurtured my character, discipline and leadership; thus, giving back to my alma mater isn’t politics, it’s gratitude,” she said in a post shared on her social media handles.

Marking her birthday today, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan also shared a personal prayer:

The lawmaker concluded her message with “Pro Unitate”, reaffirming the unity motto of Federal Government Colleges across Nigeria.
