Suspected Yahoo boys have done again, this time around, to a yet-to-be-identified lady in her 20s at Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Stonix News gathered that the community woke up to behold a gory lifeless body of the lady with eyes gorged out by the suspected ritualists.
Sources said the remains of the victim was discovered lying on the roadside, along Ubulu-Unor road, where it was dumped.
“The corpse of the lady was discovered by some passers-by who raised the alarm that attracted the community vigilantes.
“Some people, who passed along the road that early morning, saw the corpse of the girl and raised the alarm and many people rushed down to see for themselves.
“When we got there, we saw the girl, wearing a pair of jean trousers and a white top.
“Her face was covered in blood, and her two eyes were no more. You can see her eye sockets empty,” a sources narrated.
The vigilantes reportedly called the police to the scene of the killing with their patrol van and evacuated the corpse to the community mortuary.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the heinous killing of the young lady.
“The police were alerted to the scene of the incident by community youths who discovered the corpse of the lady with two eyes removed along the road.
“The DPO in Ogwashi-Uku, who also confirmed the incident when contacted, said that the corpse has been evacuated to the mortuary,” Edafe was quoted to have noted.
