The declaration aligns with global observances of International Workers’ Day, a time when countries around the world recognize the importance of the workforce.
Workers’ Day, also known as International Labour Day or May Day, is celebrated worldwide to honor the labor movement and the efforts of workers in various industries.
In Nigeria, it’s a time for workers to reflect on their achievements and advocate for better working conditions.
Nigerians are encouraged to participate in activities and events organized to mark the occasion, with labor unions and organizations planning rallies, parades, and other celebrations.
