ATTEMPT to undergo a liposuction surgery has claimed a 28-year-old Nigerian businesswoman and socialite in New Delhi, India.

Though, yet-to-be-confirmed, the victim, Amelia Pounds, reportedly passed following suspected complications during the liposuction surgery.
Stonix News reports that Liposuction, also called lipoplasty, liposculpture suction, lipectomy, or lipo, is a type of cosmetic surgery that breaks up and “sucks” fat from the body.
It is often used on the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, neck, chin, upper and backs of the arms, calves, and back, according to medicalnewstoday.com.
It was gathered that Pounds passed on on morning of Friday, October 7, 2022.
Details of the complications are still sketchy, it was, however, gathered that she gave up the ghost during the operation in the hospital.
In a video footage sighted on Instablog9ja shortly after she passed, the doctor with Indian accent was heard apologizing to her, saying “…..sorry.”
