THE Warri Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Obukohwo Monday Whiskey, Udurhie 1, Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, on his fourth coronation anniversary.
The royal celebration recognises King Whiskey’s dedication and influence since assuming the throne of his ancestors.
In a statement, the Chapel acknowledged the Ovie’s significant contributions to the growth and development of the Chapel, as well as his impact on the Idjerhe Kingdom and Delta State.
Journalists praised his role as a leader, noting his continuous efforts toward community uplift and regional progress.
The NUJ representatives expressed their prayers for the monarch’s continued strength, wisdom, and knowledge.
They prayed for divine support, hoping the journalist-turned-monarch would be upheld in his position with all the tools necessary to rule his kingdom effectively and justly.
In a show of allegiance, the Warri Correspondents’ Chapel pledged their unwavering support for the Ovie’s reign.
Their message conveyed a commitment to standing by him as he steers his people toward prosperity and progress.
The Chapel encouraged His Royal Majesty to ignore any detractors, instead urging him to remain focused on fulfilling his vision for the kingdom’s advancement.
They expressed confidence in his ability to elevate the welfare of his people, as well as contribute positively to Delta State and Nigeria as a whole.
As King Whiskey marks his fourth year on the throne, the NUJ conveyed their wishes for continued wisdom and understanding to guide his leadership of the Idjerhe Kingdom.
They prayed for divine blessings to accompany him in his efforts.
The message concluded with warm wishes for a long life, prosperity, and good health as the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom.
