Presidential hopeful of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been urged to withdraw from his lifelong ambition of emerging Nigeria’s next president come 2023 due to alleged ill-health.
A video gone viral on the social media shows Chief Tinubu, while on a visit to the Awujale of Ijebu land, recently, standing up to address the audience with alleged urine stain spotted at his buttocks region of his agbada (native robe)
Concluding that he’s not healthy contrary to the narrative of his supporters and well-wishers, social media users took to their handles bearing their minds on the development.
Leading the pack of social media users in reacting to the video is former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri on his Twitter handle..
Omokri says: “Did Tinubu pee on himself? I mean no disrespect, but he should focus on his health! For those explaining away Boko Tinubu’s wet backside as just sweat, please you are not talking to children. You are much more likely to sweat on your BACK than on your BUTTOCK area.

For @AyoAquaire, responding to Omokri’s flagdown remark, he said: “I mean no disrespect sir, but I’ve sat inside a car for just 2hours and all my buttock was full of sweat and I no pee on myself. I’m not a supporter of him though

Another Twitter user, Michael Banks @AceofThought, while responding to Omokri’s tweet, said “He (Tinubu) was sitting on a leather chair in a packed room….it’s obviously sweat.
“I have seen too many people sit through long meetings in an air conditioned room and have sweat stains on their back thighs.”

Meanwhile, supporters of the former governor of Lagos State have reacted to the urine stain saga, describing it as a Photoshop by mischievous elements.
Director, Media and Publicity, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Support Groups Management Council (SGMC), Otunba Abiodun Ajiboye, in a statement on Sunday evening, described the viral video as fake news.
“The merchant of fake news are at it again. Over the weekend, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu visited the four paramount rulers in Ogun State. He was well received by the Royal fathers, the Obas and chiefs in their respective domains and large multitudes of people in the various kingdoms.
“The success Asiwaju Tinubu recorded at these high level visitations to top traditional rulers had again led enemies of progress, the brewers of hate, discord and disharmony to script a dirty tale to discredit this awesome outing. This time it is that he wetted his dress!
“Assuming without conceding that is the case, so is it the back of his knees that would be wet and not the bum area? So if he wetted his babariga, he would not cover it and would still move to lie flat to greet the Awujale of Ijebuland in the full glare of everyone present?
“It was the usual photoshop manipulations and shallow mental agility that pushed them to dispense a feeble narrative that made no iota of sense.
“Yet as their video showed, it was after their wetting incident that he went ahead and prostrated to Kabiyesi. Those behind this annoying tale need to be a bit intelligent in their devious game.
“This is another distraction, No amount of distractions or attempts to discredit Asiwaju will work to remove the sail from his political wind.
“Asiwaju Tinubu has declared his interest in the presidential race. He has his legs on the throttle. There is no going back.
“We appeal to Nigerian to ignore the evil minded machinations and assure Nigerians that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is healthy and strong,” Otunba Ajiboye insisted.
