THE parents of a boy who was shot dead in front of them in a road rage incident are demanding life in prison for the two suspects.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal shooting occurred on Friday night Dec. 15, 2023, in Los Angeles County after the assailants allegedly cut off the family’s car on a highway in Lancaster.
Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, on Monday Dec. 18, 2023, identified the boy as Gor Adamyan.
The 4-year-old victim, reportedly died at the hospital he was rushed to after the shooting.
The suspects, Alexandria Gentile, 27, and 27-year-old Byron Burkhurt, were booked at the Los Angeles County Jail on suspicion of murder.
Stonix News reliably gathered that the tragic incident occured around 7:30 p.m. local time on Friday as Gor’s parents, on their way to a grocery store, were driving on the Sierra Highway in Lancaster where they encountered the suspects in traffic.
“During the incident, the suspect driver cut them off and then began following them through several surface streets.
“While being pursued by the suspects, the victim driver slowed his vehicle, at which time the suspect driver pulled up along the passenger side of the victim’s car and began shooting,” police said.
According to the Gun Violence Archive, no fewer than 284 children 11 years old or younger have been killed in shootings this year.
