ACCORDING to multiple sources, Cameroon could be facing a ban from AFCON as allegations of age cheating arise over Wilfried Nathan Douala.
Stonix News reports that 17-year-old Douala, who was part of their 2023 AFCON squad, is being investigated amongst 62 other players in their local league over alleged age forgery and cheating.
Douala was registered as the youngest player in AFCON at 17, but reports state he was playing under the name of one Alexandre Bardelli previously and over 21 years old.
