STUDENTS of the Department of Communication and Media Studies, University of Uyo (UniUyo), Akwa Ibom State, are grieving over the passing of one of them, Donald Nkopuduk.
He was said to be bedridden before he eventually gave up the ghost on Sunday morning.
Nkopuduk was the class representative of the present year three students of the faculty before he took ill in the second semester of his first year of study in the institution.

Unable to continue with the rigours of study, he had to drop out as a result of the sickness.
Some of his classmates stated that he had been battling with the unknown sickness for the past year before giving up the ghost on Sunday.
The deceased, who hailed from Etinan in Akwa Ibom State, reportedly marked his 20th birthday three months ago.
His colleagues took to their various social media platforms to mourn his untimely passing, while praying for the repose of his soul.
Some wrote: “Walai
at this point, I feel life has zero meaning. It’s all messy. We fight for everything but all is useless.
“The heart of man is extremely wicked, one can’t even tell which love is real and fake. I wish I didn’t have to say goodbye to Donald in this manner.
“The feeling of our class and study would never remain the same. We’ve left someone behind and that hurts deeply. God help us all.”
“Like I’m weak right now. I can’t feel myself. Dear God, please take this phase away!!♂️
“Please before we all go to bed tonight, let’s not forget to say a word of prayer for our deceased friend & brother, committing his soul to rest in God’s Bosom. It is WELL.”
“May the soul of our beloved brother and friend, Donald Udeme Nkopuduk, rest in perfect peace. Amen.
“May the love and care he never got when he needed it most here on earth, may he get it a hundred folds in the world beyond.
“To those of us who know the story, we don’t need to cry too much, Donald fought as a man and I must say, he had a very strong spirit, but family and love were not there to complement his strength.
May he rest from all the troubles of this wicked world.”
Details of his burial are still unknown just as it could not be ascertained if UniUyo authorities had responded to the incident.
