A 14-year-old girl has revealed shocking details of her experience in a sex trafficking syndicate in Ogun State.
The girl, who was rescued by Amotekun operatives, claimed she was forced to sleep with 12 to 20 men daily for a paltry sum of N1000 per customer.
The victim, a JSS3 student, said she was lured from Akwa Ibom with the promise of a sales job.
However, upon arrival, Stonix News gathered that she was given drugs, and her hair was cut by the syndicate’s leader, Mrs. Edem Joy, who threatened to harm her if she attempted to escape.
The girl alleged that the syndicate, which also involved a 60-year-old woman, Mrs. Okutoro Yemisi, targeted young girls from Akwa Ibom, Calabar, and Delta State.
The victims were forced to take oaths with their blood, hair, or Bible, swearing not to confess or escape.
Once under their control, the girls were given drugs and charms, then dispatched to various hotels for exploitation.
The syndicate promised to release them after a year, providing a phone and clothes as compensation.
Disturbingly, the girls claimed that their boss used tissues from the men for ritual purposes, ensuring the victims submitted them after each encounter. The syndicate charged clients between N1,000 and N5,000, with all earnings surrendered to Mrs. Edem.
The youngest victim rescued was just 12 years old. Authorities acted on an anonymous tip, arresting the suspects at Railway Line Hotel in Ifo town on February 8.
Lubricants, drugs, cash, and charms were seize during the operation.
