ABDUCTED 44 worshippers in Zamfara State have been converted to slaves and now working in plantations belonging to their terrorists.
Stonix News recall that the 44 worshippers were kidnapped at Zugu village of Bukkuyum Local Government Area of the state last week Friday.
A resident of Bukkuyum, Abubakar Bukkuyum, dropped the hint in an interview with journalists on the fate of the abductees.
He affirmed that the information he received from one of the bandits was that the captives are now working on bandits’ millet and sorghum plantations.
Bukkuyum quoted one of the bandits as saying: “Our millet plantations are due for harvest and the captives must do the work for us,” adding that so far, the bandits have not demanded ransom.
Meanwhile, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Zamfara Police Command, SP Muhammad Shehu, said search and rescue operation had already begun.
