The Operatives of Delta Police Command have killed three and arrested four criminal suspects in Delta State.
This was contained in a statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Bright Edafe and made available to Stonix News.
One Thursday three criminal suspects were shot at while on the verge of robbery at Ozoro and Orogun Communities by police operatives of the two communities respectively according to the statement.
The criminals who were initially shot at first during the operation, died while receiving treatment at hospitals.
The statement also asserted that the Operatives of Dragon Patrol team while on stop and search duty, were alerted about a robbery along Eku-Abraka road by a POS operator who was robbed off her money on May 29.
Acting on the information, the team arrested the trio of Jeffrey Osemudiamen ‘m’ 36, Eddy Gabriel ‘m’ 33 and Promise Imade ‘m’ 31.
Sequel to their arrest, one locally made gun, four live cartridges, a walkie – talkie set and four android phones suspected to have been stolen were recovered from the suspects.
Furthermore, it was claimed three suspects were apprehended during a stop and search at Oleh Dragon Patrol Team and a locally made cut-to-size gun and two live cartridges concealed under the seat of a tricyclethey were traveling in, recovered.
